Other Rules - Important Information
- To make a reservation, you need to provide the following personal data, which are necessary for communication between the host and the guest, as well as for issuing the invoice (NAV obligation): name of the person/company making the reservation and to be invoiced, company tax number if applicable, billing address/headquarters, email address, phone number. Furthermore, upon arrival, every guest (from 0 years old!) must hand over their ID card or passport to the host for electronic document reading, which will be stored in the closed system of tourist data provision and the police (NTAK obligation). - Check-in is from 14:00 to 17:00, and check-out is until 10:00. We ask all our guests to arrange the arrival time in advance, as I don't live in Bogács, so I need to plan my travel accordingly. We can only accommodate times outside of these and store luggage on the day of check-out based on prior agreement; please indicate such requests in advance when booking. In case of late arrival, being reachable by phone and providing information is a condition.
- Important: Smoking is only allowed in the garden; please always dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtray. Smoking inside the house is strictly prohibited!
- Important: If you want to use candles to create a romantic atmosphere, it's possible, but it's strictly forbidden to leave the flame unattended, both inside and outside the house!
- Important: If you choose to barbecue in the garden, don't leave it unattended, and please extinguish it when you're finished!
- Important: In case of key loss, a compensation of 10,000 forints must be paid per key!
Booking Information
- You can send us your booking through the form found in the Booking menu.
- Booking is possible for any number of people and nights. Please note that we may refuse bookings for 1 person or 1 night, especially during high season and holidays. Thank you for your understanding.
- Booking can be done at any time, even one day before arrival.
- When booking, you must provide the name of the person making the reservation, email address, phone number, number of guests, arrival and departure dates, approximate arrival time, and if arriving with pets, a brief description of them.
- The booking must be accepted and confirmed by the guesthouse management in the form of a price offer.
- A deposit is required for all bookings. We inform our guests about this already at the quote request. The deposit amount is: 50%
- A deposit payment is required, which is 50% of the total stay fee.
- The deposit needs to be paid within 4 working days from the booking, otherwise the offer is considered void and we make the period specified in the offer available.
Payment Information
- In case of booking, you can pay the deposit by bank transfer.
- The remaining amount can be paid on-site on the day of arrival in cash, by bank card, or with SZÉP card (K&H, OTP, MKB, EDENRED).
- If you didn't have a reservation and arrive directly at the guesthouse hoping for a possible free space, cash payment is possible upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy
- The following rules apply in case of cancellation of bookings confirmed with a deposit: For all bookings, it is necessary to notify by phone, but we only accept cancellation of the booking in written form, via email. The booking remains active until it is canceled in writing.
- If the guest cancels their booking in writing at least 30 days before the arrival date, the full amount of the paid deposit will be refunded within 10 working days following the date of the canceled booking. In case of refund, 2% gross of the deposit amount will be charged as a deposit handling fee, and we will refund the amount reduced by this cost to the Guest.
- If the Guest cancels their booking within 30 days before the arrival date (except for the day of arrival), the deposit can only be refunded if the guesthouse can sell the canceled period for that time.
- If the guest cancels their booking on the day of arrival, they lose the full amount of the paid deposit, the deposit belongs to the host.
- We offer the option in case of booking cancellation that instead of refunding the deposit, we issue a 20% value-added gift voucher for the guest which can be used later in any of our guesthouses.
Date Modification Conditions
- Date modification is possible free of charge once. If the guest cannot appear on the new modified date they have chosen, they will lose the full amount of the paid deposit.
- For all date modifications, it is necessary to notify by phone, but we only accept date modifications in written form, via email.
- Date modification is possible free of charge at least 30 days before the arrival date. If you want to modify the date within 30 days before the arrival date (except for the day of arrival), it can only be free of charge if the guesthouse can sell the previously canceled period for that time. If it cannot be sold, it means the loss of the deposit.
Headcount Modification Conditions
- It is not possible to decrease the number of guests specified in the previously sent and accepted price offer, but it is possible to increase it. This applies to both people and small animals.
- In case of increasing the number of guests, it is necessary to notify in advance by phone and pay the difference on-site, the amount of which is calculated as follows: Total booking price in the offer divided by the total number of guests in the offer divided by the number of nights in the offer equals ? multiplied by the number of additional guests.
Occupying and Leaving the Accommodation
- The accommodation can be occupied from 14:00 to 17:00 on the day of arrival, but prior arrangement is necessary because the host is not a resident of Bogács.
- After 17:00, the guest can only occupy the accommodation in very exceptional cases - only after prior arrangement - in such cases, the host may decide not to accept guests for that day, only the next day, at a pre-arranged time. In this case, the guest is obliged to pay for the unoccupied accommodation for that day as well.
- Departure from the accommodation is possible until 10:00 on the day of departure. The host must be notified of the departure in all cases at least 24 hours before departure.
Deposit Amount
- The deposit is a predetermined amount, the payment of which is due upon arrival in cash or by bank transfer and provides coverage for any potential damages or destructions. (Damages not resulting from everyday use)
- If you arrive with a pet, you need to pay a deposit in all cases, and in some of our guesthouses, guests arriving without pets also need to pay a deposit.
- If the deposit amount was not disclosed in advance, its amount is 100.00 € or 40,000 HUF.
- If there was no damage or destruction at the accommodation and it was not returned dirty or filthy, the deposit will be fully refunded.
